Suzy & Mike – Blickling Hall Wedding

When I first met Suzanne and Mike to chat about being their Blickling Hall Wedding Photographer I knew it was going to be an incredibly fun wedding. Not only are Suzanne and Mike one of the most chilled couples I’ve ever met, but their Blickling Hall Wedding was going to be something a little bit different.

Not only was it going to be held in the Temple within the magnificent gardens at Blickling Hall, but they had the most incredible plans for the rest of their day too.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading]A Blickling Hall wedding with a difference[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Rather than have to worry about organising anything themselves, they’d approached the organisers of the Blickling Hall Great British Proms night! They had a private marquee within the production area giving them and their guests a perfect view of the stage, no crowds, just their close friends, family and some absolutely beautiful music, and then finishing the day off with fireworks.

With only 17 guests in total, it really was an incredibly intimate day and I felt privileged to be their Blickling Hall wedding photographer.

On the day, I met Suzanne at the guest house to get some pictures of the girls getting ready for the day, before heading over to their house to meet Mike and his parents (who’d come all the way from New Zealand) to get some shots of them there before heading to the venue.

Blickling, is of course, stunning and the weather was perfect. Suzanne made the (very long) walk from the main house to the temple to the beautiful voices of Hayley Moss and Ben Lake before entering the intimate little venue.

After a lovely ceremony and some more fantastic singing, everyone headed to The Bucks Arms for a fabulous lunch and then on to marquee for the Great British Proms.

Queue drinking, picnics, dancing and music! And finishing the night off with fireworks! Absolutely fabulous day, that I’m sure no one who was present will forget!
