How it works

All day coverage as standard

When it comes to photographing your wedding, my basic package contains all day coverage so that I can capture the whole story of your day. Regardless of whether you’re having a small intimate affair with close family and friends, a formal affair in a stately home or DIY party in a field, there’s always something happening and I’ll be there to capture it! From prep to the party! I really do want to be there to tell the whole story of the day, giving you amazing memories to look back on.

My approach will see me mingling with your guests, capturing the day from within allowing you to forget about the camera and just enjoy your day! We’ll take some time to get those all important family photos, but we’ll keep it nice and quick and we’ll go for a relaxed stroll later on in the day to get some stunning portraits of the two of you. No cheesy awkward poses, we’ll keep it relaxed, fun and short, so you don’t miss out on the party with your nearest and dearest.

What my couples say

“As soon as we met Andy, we knew we had found an absolute gem. He is super friendly, and so very talented. We have received many comments and compliments, not only on the images taken by Andy, but also how unobtrusive he was on our day, whilst simultaneously managing to capture every special moment! The photos he took of our wedding will be treasured forever.”

As well as an online gallery, your images are beautifully presented in handmade USB cases. A single printed image contained within, these beautiful keepsakes unfold to beautifully display your chosen image and keep your USB safe on the opposite side. These are the perfect way to keep your images on hand and make a perfect display on your mantle.

Digital images are fantastic, perfect for sharing with friends and family. But images are made for printing. There’s something truly special about a printed image, holding images in your hands really brings the memories flooding back, brings those moments to life.

I am pleased to be one of the first photographers in the UK to be offering Fountain Albums to my couples. Handmade in the UK, beautifully bound and presented in a gorgeous wooden box. These albums really are something special. While most albums are high quality inkjet printers onto matte white paper, these albums are printed using traditional photographic paper. There’s no ink that can degrade or rub off, no dots placed on a paper, it’s developed like your photographs are meant to be. Ensuring not only incredible print quality, but ensuring they last a lifetime.

Printed Products

While albums are perfect for telling the story of your whole day, they’re not for everyone. If you’re the kind of person that prefers images up on your walls rather than on your coffee table or bookshelf, then I have a range of options available. From simple wooden frames, modern and elegant aluminium frames, to multi-aperture frames containing several of your images. I can offer something to suit any home, and any wall size.

For a full day’s coverage I’ll typically deliver 500+ images, but this can change depending on the size of your wedding party, the length of coverage and whether I have a second photographer with me. I have no upper limit, I deliver as many images as needed to tell the story of your big day.

Neither do I! It doesn’t matter in the slightest. My approach through the day will mean you hardly know you’re being photographed and there’ll be so much else going on to distract you you won’t even have time to think about it. Even when it comes to the portraits, we’ll keep it as relaxed and fun as possible, just go for a stroll through the grounds of your venue and leave me to take some epic portraits of you two just being, well, you.

And if you really really hate having your photo taken, well, that’s what wine and gin are for…

Of course! I always like to chat with my couples and find out more about your plans, and about the two of you! It’s not strictly necessary, I know people often have hectic lives and if you don’t have the time to spare, that’s fine too. If you live further afield we can chat on the phone or via Skype, but if you’re close enough let’s grab a coffee (or something stronger if you like) and have a proper chat.

Not long! I don’t want to keep you waiting for your images. You may want to use some for thank you cards or just share them on social media with your friends and family.

So I always send over a handful of images within a couple of days of the wedding. The day after if at all possible.

Then you get your highlights slideshow within 2 weeks of the wedding, and your final full online gallery within 4 weeks of the wedding.

The USB can take a little longer, as I need you to select an image to use for it. Or you can trust me to choose it and I’ll get it to you faster!

I have a few options for albums! My standard album costs £495. The usual process for this is that I’ll create a proof of the album for you, telling the story of the day, containing around 60 images. You’ll then be sent the proof and if you want me to change any layouts, or swap any images, you can comment on the proof and send it back and I’ll do the changes.

We go through a couple of rounds of changes until you give me the thumbs up to order it, and I get the order sent into the lab.

Or, there’s the “Photographers Choice” album. This starts at £349 and instead of the back and forward with the proofs, you put your trust in me and you don’t see the album until it’s in your hand.

Not as much as you’d think, is the answer!

All of the wall art is printed on photographic paper and protected by a non-reflective acrylic, which is so clear it almost looks like there’s nothing at all in front of the print.

Wooden frames start at just £60 with the aluminium frames just £20 more.

The Multi-Aperture frames are more expensive, but start at a much bigger size. £225 gets you a 24″ x 24″ frame containing 4 of your images behind anti-reflective acrylic.

Product sizes can be tailored to suit your needs and a huge range of framing styles and colours is available, just ask me for more info!
