What a beautiful, laid back couple! Rachel booked me over the phone last year, as is often these days, they’re both very busy people and they weren’t in Norfolk very often, so rather than a face to face meeting we just had a good chat over the phone, and didn’t meet until their engagement shoot.

I met Rachel at her Mum’s house in Castle Rising, to do get some photos of her Bridal Preparations before heading to the gorgeous St Lawrence’s Church for their ceremony. Now, I knew they were both in the military, and Rachel had said she was having a Guard of Honour, but I have to say, I wasn’t expecting Bearskin hats!

The ceremony was performed by their Padre rather than the usual vicar at the Church, which made it even more personal for them (and it was a brilliant service too), before they were whisked away to Rachel’s Dad’s farmhouse where the marquee was set up for their reception. With the food all sourced locally and the barn turned into a bar, it was great.

The couple looked fantastic on the day, everyone seemed to be having a blast!

There was a great selection of gin on hand too, shame I was driving really ūüėČ

Enough words, take a look at some pics from their big day in Castle Rising!
