Blicking Hall

Blickling Hall & Estate is a great place to walk around any time of the year, we went for a much longer 7 mile walk during the summer months, but as it was cold and foggy, we thought a walk around the lake might be nice way to walk off some of the Xmas calories.

Love this time of year for walks like this, with the frozen lake and fog making the place seem pretty eerie, it was also lovely and relaxing. Not too cold either, as evidenced by the number of other people who’d also gone for a walk. But some of the paths were incredibly muddy.

And of course Jessica made friends with a black Labrador called Millie and was insistent that she carried a lump of ice back to the car, which un-surprisingly, didn’t make it all the way back.

If there’s anywhere else you’d suggest for a winters walk, please let me know in the comments 🙂
