Bex and Neil booked me nearly two years ago, and their wedding day finally came around this last Saturday. They got married at the amazing Norfolk Mead hotel on what turned out to be an absolutely glorious day.

I turned up at 11, when Katie from Katie Barnes Creative was already working her magic with make-up on the bridesmaids and Harriet Hunswick-Rush was doing the same with the Bex’s hair.

It was a very chilled (but very hot!) morning, thunderclouds loomed, but this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. I had a laugh with the girls as they got ready, popped over to the reception room to get some photos of the flowers and captured the little bits and pieces that the Bride might miss on the morning.

The rain did fall, but only for a few minutes and it just cleared the air and the clouds parted in time for the bagpiper to provide some music on the run up to the start of the ceremony. The Norfolk Mead is a great venue, with the beautiful garden and the lovely air-conditioned garden room for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we got through the family pictures as quickly as we could and entertainment was provided by Edd Crafer – Magician, seriously talented guy! Everyone loved his magic.

After speeches and the meal it was time for the evening guests and drinks and dancing, music supplied by The Joe Ringer Band, who are always (quite rightly) in high demand, brilliant musicians and provided the perfect finish to the day.

Enough waffle, you want to see the slideshow right? Well play it full screen, turn the volume up, sit back and enjoy their big day.
